Before an experimental accident changed her life forever, Shiraishi Yayoi was an ordinary, albeit somewhat clumsy, schoolgirl. Her father, the self-proclaimed genius physicist Shiraishi Sensei, forced her into a teleporter with a cat, much like in the movie "The Fly," without her consent. As a result, she fused with the feline.
Now, whenever she becomes excited about anything, a pair of cat ears and a tail sprout from her body, transforming her into a "catgirl" with superpowers. Sadly, the transformation comes with a downside, as she also begins to behave like a cat when exposed to specific stimuli, such as mice. She has a boyfriend, but her "problem" often interferes with their dates since the slightest excitement can trigger her transformation into a catgirl.
