Tsurumaruya, a beloved Japanese confectionary, has been passed down to Chihiro, its current heir. He holds a hidden crush for Katsumi, his childhood companion and the store's manager. Though his affection towards the vigilant and dedicated Katsumi strengthen over time, fulfilling the former proprietor's final request of being the manager remains his top priority.
With their emotions unrequited, Chihiro is called to Tokyo by an esteemed customer, leaving Katsumi behind.
The duo's existence is anchored by the family legacy and customs of Tsurumaruya. Apart from this beloved series, there are two new accounts, including one that depicts a nephew's sudden habitation with President Mori.
