In high school, Yuuki Ichinose struggles to make friends and has difficulty connecting with his delinquent classmate Kaga-Kun. To compensate, he turns to an online RPG game where he strikes up a friendship with a female character named Aki-chan. However, he soon discovers that Aki-chan is actually Kaga-Kun, who has been coerced by his sister to play the game and practice socializing with the character she created for him.
