In the summer of AC 196, Relena Darlian leads the Earth Sphere Unified Nation's effort towards disarmament. Despite this, the Gundam pilots are concerned about Vulkanus, an OZ manufacturing plant rumored to be filled with Mobile Dolls and lost in space. Meanwhile, the Perfect Peace People organization advocates for more extensive disarmament than even Relena does. To prevent Vulkanus from falling into the wrong hands, the Gundam pilots embark on a mission to locate and destroy it.
