Shigure is a typical high school student who enjoys playing gal games, collecting figures, and watching late night anime. He often remains oblivious to his surroundings, particularly when he's at school, where he is cared for by his childhood friend Koyomi because his parents have gone overseas for work. One day, Koyomi comes to him with the news that her friend has gone missing, and she is worried sick. She informs Shigure that a student at their school committed suicide by jumping in front of a train a month ago, and since then, there has been a pattern of a girl from their school taking her life every Wednesday. Despite Koyomi's warning to stay away, Shigure decides to assist in finding her friend.
Shigure lands at the site of the suicide and encounters a mystical girl who claims to possess the power to access people's memories. Later, he learns that she is the student council president, but he can't help but wonder why she appears indifferent to her classmate's death. Could she be linked to these suicides? And can Shigure stop any further harm from happening?
