A timid high-school student named Sousuke has romantic feelings for his childhood companion Yobiko. Yobiko has been the target of crow attacks since her early years, leading the other children to keep their distance from her. However, Sousuke has consistently been her protector. After the park Yobiko took refuge in during crow attacks is destroyed, Sousuke vows to intensify his protective efforts for Yobiko.
