Yeld, an exhausted orc living in a dark fantasy realm, dares to take the leap and move to Tokyo in order to pursue his passion for editing comic books. To his surprise, he meets a talented swordswoman who shares his dream of becoming a manga artist, but is grappling with constant rejection that drives her to the brink of hopelessness. With the unlikely accompaniment of a tentacled monster summoned for assistance and a slime girl boasting a plethora of manga-making tools, this unconventional group of artists form an exceedingly unusual team. Together, they create surreal art that strikingly reflects the inner workings of the manga industry.
