Despite his initial animosity towards Rui, Doumyouji ultimately decides to do him a favor by playing matchmaker and introducing him to a girl named Kimiko. However, as they delve deeper into uncovering Kimiko’s true identity, they realize that all is not as it seems. Meanwhile, Doumyouji himself comes to a pivotal moment in his own love life, and decides to ask Tsukushi to marry him. It is during this period of self-discovery that Rui finally comes to terms with his true desires and finds that there is indeed an alternative love waiting for him.
