Due to its constant reminder of his troubled past, Sachio loathes his own face and worries that others will judge him based on his appearance. Seeking to break free from his previous life and unattractive facial features, he relocates to Tokyo in search of a fresh start. Despite his efforts, Sachio's plans go awry when he learns that his neighbor, Onda, has an indistinguishable face. As a result, Sachio is confronted with the daunting task of seeing his own displeasing image regularly.
