Although Seki and Iwashiro stand out among their high school peers, they share no common ground. Seki sports dyed blonde hair and piercings, which often results in conflicts with authority figures. While skipping class with friends one day, Seki crashes into an upright Iwashiro and causes him to drop a lewd magazine. Hastily, Iwashiro disposes of it, adding to his existing reputation as the "odd one out" at school.
Despite Seki's deliberate efforts to avoid Iwashiro, their paths continue to cross. In an unexpected incident, Seki accidentally knocks Iwashiro down a flight of stairs, injuring him. Despite this, Iwashiro refuses to report Seki to the authorities and instead requires him to carry his belongings as compensation.
Initially, Seki feels resentful towards this arrangement, but eventually learns to embrace it. He stands by Iwashiro's side, offering help whenever needed. Through their differences, the two teenagers learn to appreciate and understand each other, leading to an unlikely but meaningful relationship.
