The term Oyayubi Hime, which means Thumb Princess in Japanese, is also used to refer to the traditional folktale of Thumbelina. Kogami Madoka is the main character, known for her exceptional massaging skills showcased by her magical thumbs, which has earned her the title of Thumb Princess unlike Thumbelina. She generously offers her friends free massages, and eagerly awaits the day when she can demonstrate her abilities on the boy she fancies, Matsuoka. However, Matsuoka promptly retreats as though he's been burned, as gossip has it that he despises physical contact with girls, to the point of getting aggressive.
