A group of terrorists has announced secession on the South Pole and has strategically placed explosive nitrogen bombs along several coastlines. Their malicious intent is to instill fear and ultimately, destruction. Despite the US' failed attempt to disarm the bombs, the Japanese bomb disposal team has a promising asset in Machida Machiko, a young prodigy, under the care of trainee bomb defuser Aranagi Nagito. The trio is determined to rid the world of the deadly devices and have made a pact to do so. However, after facing some setbacks during their first attempt, they realize that their only hope now lies in utilizing Machiko's defusing program. Can they act fast enough to save Japan and triumph over the terrorist threat?
