Set in a prestigious co-ed school, the story takes place within the boys' dormitory. Despite having a serious and hardworking personality, Yano has always been relegated to second place in the school's ranks due to his plain appearance. On the other hand, Yano's roommate Odajima is the top ranker who possesses both intelligence and handsome looks, but is also a playboy. Yano views Odajima as an otherworldly being and his arch-nemesis. Despite never imagining it, Yano begins to see their relationship take on a perverse turn while living together.
