In 1895, a Cho-Sun noble's son named Mok accompanies his father to the capital and encounters a peculiar man without feet. Upon returning home, Mok falls severely ill. However, he soon discovers that the enigmatic man he saw earlier is actually a ghost who guides him through his fever and reveals that he is safeguarded by four divine spirits. This encounter grants Mok the unique ability to perceive the world of spirits and ghosts, leading him to intervene in various spirit-related events.
