Nayumi is putting the final touches on a hand puppet, but she's struggling with one thing: designing an endearing face that will captivate the audience. She's determined to complete it before her senior discovers she hasn't finished, even though the performance is the following day. Suddenly, her senior named Kimura summons her, causing Nayumi to panic and inadvertently drop the puppet as she falls off her seat. Surprisingly, Kimura helps Nayumi to her feet. But as she looks around, Nayumi realizes that the puppet now resembles her, and she's mysteriously vanished.
