After waking up, Ryder realizes that the young woman he had spent the previous night with has disappeared. Despite her being drunk at the pub, he helped her find a motel room and they ended up spending the night together even though she was a virgin. To complicate things further, she is the daughter of a wealthy oil tycoon, making Ryder doubt the possibility of a serious relationship with her. Despite this, he can't get her off his mind and decides to investigate why she left him, a confident ladies' man, after only one night together.
