A doctor attempts to prevent a man from taking his own life but tragically falls with him, resulting in the doctor's death. The doctor then finds herself reincarnated as a wretched woman who committed suicide on her wedding day to escape marrying a cruel and evil prince. She becomes entangled in the treacherous politics of palace life and is ultimately scapegoated. Despite trying to protect herself, the situation spirals out of control when she stabs the prince in front of her husband, leading to even greater chaos.
