The decrease in Japan's birth rate has resulted in a loss of innocent energy sources for the magical world. Businesses are closing due to the scarcity, and the authorities have implemented a policy to create everlasting love for those who prioritize careers or hobbies over romance.
As a preliminary test, high school student Anzu Hoshino is selected by fairy Riri before the policy is enforced nationwide. Anzu is the ideal candidate with her love for video games, pet cat, and obsession with chocolate. Unfortunately, Anzu is entirely against the idea and tries to stop the magical world from forcing her into a relationship.
Despite the confiscation of her distractions, Anzu is determined to avoid her predetermined fate. However, when she collides with Tsukasa Kazuki, a hot guy from her school, her efforts prove to be futile. Now unable to evade the boy, Anzu wonders if her sabotage tactics will work.
