After emerging from the devastation of World War II in 1946, Japan was still in recovery mode. For Wayne, a young orphan, opportunity arose in the form of a job at Club Primavera, an establishment in District 23 that was home to a group of brothels vying for dominance against global militaries and the mafia. However, a rash of killings sent shockwaves through the community. The primary suspect in the ghastly affair was none other than Wayne's close confidant, Jack. Urged to face his inner turmoil, Wayne wrestled with the notion that Jack might be the perpetrator, or maybe he was simply a hapless pawn destined for tragedy.
