Initially pursuing a career as a pianist, Tezuka Ayane supplemented her income by working as a part-time in-home tutor. It was during this time that she crossed paths with Narumiya Kou, whom she couldn't help but develop feelings for. Despite their age difference, her infatuation went unrequited. Fast forward six years and Ayane has found her calling as a music teacher at an all-girls school. By chance, she attends a jazz-piano audition and is surprised to find Kou there as well.
