After his sojourn in England, Itoi settles in a seaside town where he becomes an English professor. While tutoring one of his students, he meets Tezuka, the older brother of a naval officer. Despite Itoi's superior rank, Tezuka's haughty and domineering behavior irritates him relentlessly. Tezuka repeatedly taunts Itoi, addressing him as "adorable," and this confuses him. When Tezuka impulsively kisses him on the lips, Itoi is at a loss how to respond.
