Asaka High School freshman Hayama Honoka is a relaxed and unenthused teenage girl who is unaware of her preference for girls over boys. Her friend Tomori, who has a tendency for violence, reminds her to choose a school club to join. During lunch, Honoka encounters a timid and clumsy girl named Mizusawa Yuzuki in an old, deserted building on campus. Yuzuki is fascinated by the decades-old structure, while Honoka only views it as dirty.
Honoka and Yuzuki discover the Abandoned Building club, a small school club dedicated to exploring forgotten locations full of history and hints about the past. They meet the club's vice president, Tachibana Mana, a passionately enthusiastic and well-figured girl, and decide to join. The club's purpose is to visit abandoned buildings, rooms, or stations and appreciate the beauty of these neglected places. Despite being worn out by time and disregarded by people, they are brimming with history and significance.
