Chie's persistent dedication to her role as the school's student vice president was largely inspired by her infatuation with the student council president. With graduation quickly approaching in her final year of school, Chie aspired to profess her romantic feelings to him before their time on the council came to a close. However, when a younger student caught her eye and they started to bond, Chie's chances of confessing before her vice presidential term concluded became uncertain.
