Reports indicate that the final installment of Nakahira's manga series, Sakura Ganbaru!, concludes with Karin choosing to turn the graduation ceremony into an arena to challenge her rival, Sakura. Despite the intense battle, Sakura is instead inspired to pursue teaching, which connects back to the original manga's finale when she is portrayed as a PE instructor. The doujin also includes striking black-and-white sketches of both Sakura and Karin, as well as Q&A sections and artwork from esteemed artists including Nakahira Masahiko, Akatsuki Gomoku, Hidiri Rei, Yoshizaki Mine, Takurou and Takamichi.
