At a tender age, Kusanagi Naoya was left motherless. And, due to his father's business as a world-traveling painter, his only solace was in his elementary school friend, Misakura Rin. Regrettably, Rin's family relocated, leaving Naoya alone with his grief. In high school, Naoya had become hardened and aloof, struggling with his father's untimely demise. Matters took a turn for the worse as Naoya found it arduous to reveal his guarded self to others. Just as all seemed bleak, a transfer student joined his class, offering a glimmer of hope for the desolate Naoya.
