Following Nobunaga's removal from power, civil unrest is spreading even to the outskirts of Kyushu. A small region of Kyushu is governed by the Harima clan, led by 15-year-old Harunobu, who has no desire to engage in warfare or become a ruler, contrary to what others expect. Instead, he dedicates himself to mapping and documenting the surrounding territories' flora and fauna. Harunobu's aspiration is to compile an encyclopedia that encompasses all the world's knowledge. Thus, when the chance arises to travel the globe and eventually reach Rome, Harunobu entrusts his realm to capable hands and embarks on a journey he has coveted his whole life.
