After his mother's passing, Ageha, a high schooler, inherited the role of being a housewife, caring for his two younger siblings and dealing with his father's constant womanizing. In school, Ageha has a crush on his classmate Nina, who confides in him that she is smitten with a popular singer named Miyamoto Range. To impress Nina, Ageha decides to showcase his own singing skills at an open mic session, but his performance is thwarted as he is kidnapped by Range himself. The singer, adamant about Ageha joining his band, the Shibutani Alliance Club, relentlessly pursues him. Though Ageha initially finds Range bothersome, he gradually becomes endeared by his charismatic personality. As Ageha grows closer to Range, he must grapple with accepting his newfound friend and his own feelings for Nina.
