The manga rendition of the adventure, originally released as a direct-to-video in 1992, follows the story of Kazamatsuri Shin - a regular motorcycle racer. His father, Daimon, is a scientist who aims to strengthen the human immune system through genetic alteration to cure infectious diseases. Shin takes up the mantle of being his father's subject, but their research is put at risk by Onizuka Giichi, Daimon's research partner, who has ulterior motives.
With things going haywire, Shin works tirelessly to protect himself and his family from the clutches of Onizuka, the CIA, and even an enigmatic group known as 'The Foundation.' He transforms into the strong and powerful Shin Kamen Rider, determined to fight for his cause.
