Endless torment from bullies at school has left Sena Takai longing for a fresh start. Her wish is answered when she saves a stray cat from being hit by a truck and awakens as a ghost. Familia, a self-described spirit guide, becomes her companion as she is tasked with frightening humans and collecting their fear essence. In doing so, Sena discovers extraordinary ghostly abilities and a newfound sense of purpose in the afterlife. However, in order to limit her scares to only those deemed "evil," including her former bullies and sinister superiors, Sena must confront her own painful memories in her most daunting challenge yet.
