The BL manga, Good Girls Scan, follows the story of Mitsuru Hasegawa who sets out to investigate a case concerning the "Biters," a group of vampires. Anna, his childhood friend, warns him to stay away from the matter, but it turns out that she is one of the "Biters." Anna tricks Mitsuru into thinking she is helping him gather information for his article, but she ends up drinking his blood and they end up sleeping together. Mitsuru finds pleasure in the experience but is left feeling confused as there seems to be a hidden truth about himself that he is not aware of.
