Taichi was on a snowy mountain and almost died last year, but fortunately, his best friend Shinobu came to his rescue. The issue is that Taichi cannot recall anything about this supposed childhood friend of his! Hoping his memory will recover, Taichi keeps this fact hidden from everyone until he is confronted with a much larger secret a year later. As it happens, Shinobu is not what he appears to be, and Taichi may not have truly survived the night on the snowy mountain.
