Tomoya Kurata, who had no surviving family members, recently lost Kaname Tsukiyama, an elderly person with whom he had a special connection. While Tomoya was mourning alone in the traditional home, where cherished memories of Kaname lingered, he met Hikaru Tatsui, who claimed to be Kaname's grandson. Hikaru suddenly suggests, "Would you like to live here with me?" and Tomoya is coerced into sharing the residence.
