For 10 years, Satonaka Tamami (also known as Tama) has harbored feelings for her childhood friend Tsukimori Masachika (Chika). Tama first expressed her love to Chika at the age of six, but he rejected her and suggested they revisit the matter in high school. Now, after a decade of waiting, Tama has decided to confess to Chika. However, her friends warn her that Chika is distant and a member of the kendo club, which prohibits its members from dating. Despite her reservations, Tama asks Chika out, only to be immediately turned down. To avoid hurting his friend, Chika agrees to date her if she keeps the relationship a secret. Tama is overjoyed at the opportunity, but as it turns out, keeping their love under wraps is not as simple as she hoped.
