Nagai, a detective in the Metropolitan Police Department, currently resides with his former high school classmate Kitahara. They weren't particularly close during their school days, but Kitahara manipulatively finagled his way into moving in with Nagai by claiming he needed a new home after being kicked out by his roommate. Much to Nagai's surprise, Kitahara turned out to be an impressive chef despite his untidiness. He also exuded an air of helplessness that made him seem like both a bride and a pet, making living with him quite comfortable for Nagai. Unfortunately, Kitahara dropped a bombshell on Nagai by revealing that he had decided to reconcile with his ex, forcing him to terminate their living arrangement.
However, it quickly became apparent that Kitahara was harboring a few undisclosed secrets…
