Our planet will soon become a barren wasteland, covered in sand and devoid of life. Society has lost all hope and humanity is a mere shadow of its former self. Large, fierce beasts scour the desert, preying on the remaining survivors.
Zizi possesses an enigmatic ability to see through the endless sea of sand. Her tribe has managed to defy the great sand whales, but their hunt for sustenance has grown increasingly scarce. Whilst searching for food, Zizi crosses paths with Sabu, a pirate sailing the sand sea. The fate of their peoples and the possibility of reclaiming a sense of purpose rests with these two individuals…
