Kazuomi Kouno comes from a struggling, large family where he shoulders the responsibility of caring for his younger siblings. Although he's the effortlessly cool kid at school, his focus and care are solely directed towards his family. One day, Koutarou Makise, a senior who is two years his senior, persuades Kazuomi to join the Gardening Association. As a result, Kazuomi starts to reveal more to Koutarou than he ever has to anyone else. Despite Koutarou's loving and physical presence, Kazuomi's heart becomes fragile after witnessing Koutarou's libertine approach to relationships, particularly as Koutarou is the most popular guy at school.
