My suggested rewrite:
In cultures around the globe, tales are told of benevolent entities known as Seraphim, whose influence is felt but never glimpsed. Lucky few who are chosen to commune with them are called "Shepherds," and the most virtuous among them may be blessed with the Seraphim's powers. Yet while some esteem these enlightened Shepherds as paragons of purity, others revile them as devils for their superhuman abilities.
Sorey, a youthful human residing in The Divine Forest, a haven where he coexists in harmony with numerous Seraphim, is spellbound by lore enshrined in an antique manuscript. Every day Sorey and his Seraphim childhood companion, Mikleo, embark on expeditions to unearth additional secrets about the Seraphim and their chronicles. One fateful day, while exploring the ruins nearby, Sorey and Mikleo, along with a fledgling knight named Alisha, investigating a wave of catastrophic incidents plaguing the world, are trapped in a cave-in. Discovering clues pointing to the Seraphim's involvement in these upheavals, Sorey vows to brave the outside world with Alisha to expose the truth.
