Though they appear like any other individual in both their gait and speech, the Chachaoong possess an extraordinary ability to bring to life whatever image they conjure in their minds. Dubbed as Shamans, these beings are at a loss when it comes to their origin and arrival in this world. As the time arrives for the present monarch to appoint their successor, the unassuming human Yu Jin is surprisingly chosen to be the next ruler. However, this decision does not sit well with many Chachaoong, who vehemently reject the idea of a human being their leader. In his confusion, Yu Jin finds himself dodging the murderous attempts made by frustrated Chachaoong.
