Tao Tie and Kui Long, two demon brothers, reach a village to make arrangements for a ritual sacrifice held every decade. Under the guise of Wu Chen, Kui Long acquaints himself with Tan Hua, a girl who's already passed away due to a sickness. However, her brother, a physician, revived her with a drug to ensure that she becomes the sacrifice in place of himself. Unknown to both Tan Hua and Kui Long, they're unaware of each other's involvement in the impending ceremony.
