The story centers around a cluster of five Japanese high schoolers caught between adolescence and adulthood. Wakana Sakai had a passion for music, but after her mom's untimely death, she gave it up. Meanwhile, Konatsu Miyamoto is a ray of sunshine who finds comfort in singing and spends her free time in the school's vocal music club. Sawa Okita dreams of horseback riding and participates actively in the school's archery club. Daichi Tanaka constantly shows up late to badminton team practice and shares a flat with his sister while attending university. Finally, "Wiin" joins Wakana's class after being out of the country for twelve years in Austria. Their common love for music brings Wakana, Konatsu, Sawa, and other classmates together as they unite to create a musical group during their final summer in high school.
