Throughout the 20th century, there was a clandestine military project designed to make contact with extraterrestrial life-forms. The operation made great strides and its signal managed to reach an alien group on the brink of extinction. The transmission, unfortunately, inspired them to plan an invasion of Earth. Consequently, polarized groups arose on the planet, with some arranging to assist the technologically-advanced beings in their quest to conquer the supposedly corrupt world, while others strategized to resist the impending attack.
