Haru Inoue, following a heart transplant, discovers he has memories that don't belong to him. In his dreams, he repeatedly sees himself on a bus with an unknown girl seated opposite him. Initially, he dismisses it as inherited memories, until a fellow patient's outburst and hospital staff brawl captures his attention. This odd occurrence initiates a sequence of events unmasking a horrifying truth that Haru had never foreseen.
