A millennium ago, a conflict pitted humans against extraterrestrial sorceresses, unleashing havoc across the cosmos and annihilating numerous worlds and beings. Finally, the humans seized the mightiest witch and detained her as a belligerent according to the accord.
In the vicinity of the stronghold where the Enchantress Supreme is locked up, a hamlet is home to residents with feeble magical abilities - everyone except for Mugi. Eager to demonstrate his independence from magic, Mugi inadvertently soars into the treacherous forest swarming with monsters that shroud the castle, and encounters a stranger who saves him.
