Fueled by fury, a man in his mid-twenties heads home with a valuable load on his truck, despite being told to turn back. On the road, he comes across a youngster holding only one bag, asking for a lift to the coast. Though he anticipates trouble, he eventually agrees to help. As they near their destination, they discover common ground and begin a friendship. Unbeknownst to the man, the youth is hiding a secret.
