Due to an increase in college dorm fees, Kentou Sasaki, a graduate student, is forced to vacate his room. He quickly finds an affordable apartment, but unfortunately, the bath and stove are both dysfunctional. Undaunted by the cold, Kentou decides to move in immediately. Regrettably, after a heavy snowfall, he almost succumbs to hypothermia.
Soushi Ikematsu, Kentou's aloof neighbor, who enjoys listening to metal music, unexpectedly comes to his aid. Despite his intimidating appearance, Soushi prepares a meal to warm Kentou up. From then on, they fall into a routine of sharing meals together for a year, much to Kentou's dismay at their stagnant relationship. Nonetheless, Kentou's unspoken attraction to men prevents him from confessing his feelings to Soushi, risking their friendship if he does. As Kentou begins to develop deeper feelings for Soushi, will he be able to keep his secret safe?
