Akiba, a remote programmer, had a new neighbor move in next door. The neighbor, Shima, was a student studying for his university entrance exams. Upon learning that Shima was applying to the same school Akiba attended, he offered to tutor him. In exchange, Akiba asked Shima to help care for his family's dog part-time.
As Akiba and Shima spent more time together, Akiba found himself drawn to Shima's bright gaze and mature demeanor. Soon, they began to develop feelings for each other, but their new relationship faced an uncertain future.
Also included in the story is the one-shot "Daisuki wa Kawaii."
