During his time in middle school, Touto was known as the intimidating kid who people either fought with, were afraid of, or avoided altogether. However, upon entering a prestigious high school, he made a conscious decision to change his ways and leave his tough exterior behind. Despite his peculiar behavior and harsh demeanor, he managed to make two friends early on - Miyakoe and Yuta - who were also looking to reinvent themselves in high school. Miyakoe, a timid student with a deep interest in the occult, always felt ignored in middle school and desired to be noticed in the newer environment. Likewise, Yuta, who had a past filled with constant bullying, aimed to start anew without his past defining him.
Things took an unexpected turn when Miyakoe went missing while investigating a frightening school myth. In their search for her, Touto and Yuta encountered a threatening cellphone monster. However, amidst seemingly hopeless odds, Touto's cellphone-strap good-luck charm came to life, providing him with the strength required to defend his newfound friends. It became apparent to Touto that his high school life would be weirder than he could have ever anticipated!
