After an accident on the set of an ancient movie, Zhuang Min, who had been an assistant to a well-known artiste, finds herself suddenly transported to an entirely new world. She is relegated to the position of a maid servant in a wealthy household but soon realizes that her life is filled with numerous obstacles that she must overcome. Despite her unwillingness to accept her position, she eventually resigns herself to her fate as a servant, before taking the decision to revolt against societal expectations and fight for her freedom. Several fortuitous encounters help her gain invaluable support, allowing her to embark on an adventure in the ancient era. Along the way, she establishes her peaceful realm and draws the attention of several eligible men.
