Itzuki, a young man who found it difficult to fit in with city life, decided to move to the countryside. However, the area is believed to be haunted by youkai, adding to the challenges he faced adapting to life in the mountains, where insects are abundant, and cell phone reception is scarce. Suddenly, he is confronted by a youkai and left with no escape. Out of nowhere, a charming young man with dog ears saves him and introduces himself as a komainu youkai, a protector of shrines. He urges Itzuki to become his master, turning his world upside down. Thus begins an intriguing and tender love story between a human and a youkai.
