While using himself as a decoy to flee from a monster, Chrome's life was cut short. But in that moment, his (Revival) skill activated, granting him the power to resurrect himself as a Skeleton monster, a fearsome "Wight".
Dejected by his new form, Chrome learned of monsters' ability to evolve, prompting him to hunt down his prey and quickly advance in form in hopes of regaining his humanity. During this process, Chrome acquired several new skills, far beyond what any ordinary human could possess.
